Beda is the Balverine Queen and those wild beasts see her as a mother goddess in human form because she IS only human. Her older step-brother Jacob is the Balverine King and claims that he only wants to help and teach his younger step-sister how to be a fair Queen. Balverines surround the castle on the outside like bloodthristy guards constantly patrolling. Why did Beda choose to become the Balverine Queen? What are her step-brother's teaching methods?
